Partnaire x Sport in the City: When employment and sport team up.


Sport in the City Sport dans la Ville is the leading sports-based integration association in France, founded in 1998 by Nicolas Eschermann and Philippe Oddou. All of Sport dans la Ville's programs promote the social and professional integration of nearly 15,000 young beneficiaries from priority neighborhoods, actively contributing to their progress and personal development.

The Foundation Partnaire actively engages with the association. This partnership is implemented through two flagship programs: the empowerment of young girls with L in the City and access to employment with Jobs in the City.

Our commitment to their L in the City program

Launched in 2009, L in the City This program is integrated across all Sport dans la Ville programs. It aims to give young girls equal opportunities for success by supporting their personal development and professional integration. Therefore, it addresses four key challenges: encouraging girls' participation in sports, fostering ambition and professional integration, promoting gender equality and diversity, and contributing to the empowerment of young girls.

Our involvement in the program

In October 2024, the Groups Partnaire reaffirmed her commitment to women's empowerment by participating in a workshop dedicated to leadership and self-confidence for fifteen young women in the program L in the CityThe event began with an introduction to self-defense, followed by a special discussion with three inspiring figures: Héloïse COURVOISIER (paratriathlete from Team PartnaireMarianne d'ANTUONO (amateur boxer and production manager at Diggers Factory) and Sandra PASQUIER (diversity and equality manager at Avril) participated in a discussion on sisterhood and shared experiences of participating in sports within male-dominated environments. The speakers provided essential insights into stress management and self-confidence. This meeting, characterized by kindness and knowledge sharing, allowed both participants and speakers to leave enriched by this exchange of experiences.

Our commitment to Job dans la Ville

Created in 2007 by the association, the program Jobs in the City works to promote equal opportunities by facilitating access to training and employment for young people from priority neighborhoods. Faced with the challenges of exclusion and dropping out of school, this free program supports 2,500 young people each year, from the age of 14, through personalized guidance provided by employment officers and mentors in companies. The program offers concrete tools—such as TOEIC preparation or the specific " Decisive Pass "for those with less than a high school diploma, or even the " Booster for Young Graduates "— in order to remove obstacles to hiring and guarantee sustainable professional integration.

As part of its commitment to inclusion, agency Partnaire of Villepinte The initiative was launched through the intervention of Méissara YACOUBI. Through two sessions, one in November 2024 and the other in June 2025, this project introduced young people to new career paths using an innovative format. By combining fun and sporting activities to reveal soft skills beyond the CV, followed by personalized guidance interviews, the group is reinventing recruitment by breaking down prejudices.
