What is Synchrony?
Synchronie is an endowment fund created to support initiatives at the Orléans University Hospital and the Loiret GHT. This innovative initiative, authorized by the 2008 law, raises private funds to finance projects that improve:
- Research and innovation : develop new therapeutic approaches, improve diagnostics, etc.
- Patient care : provide greater comfort to patients and their loved ones, promote rehabilitation, etc.
- Working conditions of caregivers : equipping services with cutting-edge equipment, improving working environments, etc.
Why a public-private partnership?
By combining public and private efforts, Synchronie is giving new impetus to healthcare in the Loiret region. This partnership makes it possible to carry out projects that could not be financed by public budgets alone.
How is Synchrony governed?
Synchronie is governed by a board of directors composed primarily of patrons and an operational and scientific council. This governance ensures transparent and efficient management of the funds raised.
Why support from the Partner Foundation:
The group Partnaire, through its foundation, is the founding partner of Synchronie. It is thanks to the group that in 2022, the endowment fund raised the necessary capital for its creation.
Some examples of projects supported by Partnaire :
In 2023, we participated in the financing of an exoskeleton designed to facilitate early verticalization and walking for patients with motor disabilities who need intensive personalized rehabilitation following a stroke, for example.
In December 2024 the foundation Partnaire will support a new project for the pediatric surgery department with the provision of a Snoezelen mobile trolley providing multi-sensory stimulation promoting calming, pain reduction and better communication between patients and caregivers.
By supporting Synchronie, the Foundation Partnaire contributes to a better future for health in Loiret.
