Birth of the team Partnaire
The project was born from a decisive meeting in 2015 between Philippe Gobinet, President of the Group Partnaire, and Rémy Boullé, a disabled kayaker.
Deeply touched by the story of Rémy, victim of a parachuting accident that left him paraplegic, Philippe Gobinet decided to support him by financing his equipment, first for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, then for those of Tokyo 2021, where Rémy won the bronze medal.
The excitement surrounding the prospect of Paris Games in 2024 and the desire to give the same chance to other athletes with disabilities thus gave birth to the creation of the Team Partnaire 100% parasport in 2023.
Corporate Foundation Commitment Partnaire
This commitment, formalized by the signing of a sponsorship agreement in 2022 between the Corporate Foundation Partnaire and the French Sports Foundation (FSF) for a period of 2 years, is part of the “Performance Pact” created by the FSF.
This system allows high-level athletes to be put in touch with patrons, thus contributing to the success of their sporting projects by covering part of their expenses, such as the purchase of equipment or sporting travel, among others.
The creation of this parasport team is the culmination of a corporate strategy based on people, and committed for many years to actions aimed at supporting diversity, inclusion and disability in the world of work.
