The Foundation Partnaire reaffirms its commitment to children's health by making a donation to the Rétinostop association, dedicated to the fight against retinoblastoma. This association was created in 1994 by the parents of a child diagnosed with this rare retinal cancer, which only affects very young children.
Squad Challenge: when sport rhymes with solidarity!
The business foundation Partnaire supports a team of high-level para-athletes. Through the United Heroes app, each athlete on the team has formed a team of Group employees, all highly motivated to take on the challenges offered.
Each athlete chose a charity as the recipient of their donations. The goal of this Squad Challenge was to rack up as many points as possible and thus represent their charity in order to generate the most donations.
Héloïse Courvoisier chose the Rétinostop association, in connection with her own retinoblastoma.
Thanks to this Squad challenge, the Foundation Partnaire had the honor of presenting a donation to Marie-Françoise Ray, president of Rétinostop, at the Curie Institute.
Retinostop: a fight that never stops.
The objectives of Rétinostop, let us remember, are crucial:
- Raise awareness of early detection : for rapid care and increased chances of recovery.
- Support research : in order to improve treatments and find new solutions for affected children.
- Supporting families : to offer them moral and practical support in the face of the challenges of the disease.
These objectives remain more relevant than ever.
Héloïse Courvoisier: an inspiring model.
The presence of Héloïse Courvoisier, Paralympic athlete of the Team Partnaire and godmother of Rétinostop, during this event, was a highlight.
Her journey, a testament to courage, continues to inspire and remind us that hope is always possible. After practicing various disciplines, she chose paratriathlon and joined the French team in April 2022. A few months later, she enjoyed her first World Cup podium, finishing 3rd. She competed in her first Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 and finished in 7th place. Professionally, Héloïse is a physiotherapist.
As a reminder, Héloïse, who has had retinoblastoma since birth, was treated at the Curie Institute.
Partnaire : A collective commitment that makes a difference
The Foundation Partnaire is proud to support initiatives that advance medical research and bring hope to families, like Retinostop.
We would like to reiterate our thanks to all the Group's employees Partnaire who participated in the Squad Challenge. Their mobilization helped support this vital cause and make a real difference.
