Focus on employment and the preparation of young people
In a weakened socio-economic context, French youth today find themselves at a crossroads. Inequalities are widening and young people face numerous challenges in finding lasting employment.
The numbers speak for themselves: one in five children lives below the poverty line and the unemployment rate for those under 25 remains twice* higher than that of the working population as a whole. This reality reflects the need to strengthen support and preparation of young people for changes in the job market.
Certain groups remain particularly exposed to the risks of exclusion. This is particularly the case for young people from low-income backgrounds, those with disabilities, or those who have dropped out of school.
*according to INSEE data, in the first quarter of 2024, the unemployment rate for 15-24 year-olds stood at 18,1%, while the overall unemployment rate was 7,5%.
Strengthening community action: a social necessity
In this context, associations play a central role in supporting these young people in building their futures. However, their work is weakened by a constrained budgetary environment. The gradual decline in public funding, combined with growing social demand, complicates the sustainability of actions on the ground.
According to the 2023 annual barometer of the Associative Movement, nearly half of the structures report experiencing financing difficulties, affecting their capacity for innovation and support for beneficiaries.
It is in this reality that the commitment of the Foundation Partnaire, created in 2021 by a group deeply rooted in the issues of employment and inclusion. Driven by a strong conviction – that everyone deserves the same chances to succeed, regardless of their life path – the Foundation Partnaire works for a fairer and more inclusive world of work, by supporting those who work daily for equal opportunities.
Youth and employability: together, let's build success stories
The launch of this call for projects is part of a desire to respond to an urgent need for support. Aware that change cannot be achieved alone, the Foundation Partnaire wishes to support concrete initiatives, promoting employability and sustainable professional integration of young people, particularly the most vulnerable, faced with social, economic or educational obstacles.

Before submitting your application, we invite you to consult the following information
At the end of the selection, up to three winners may be retained. The amounts allocated may be between 4 000 € to 20 000 € according to the needs of the project. The amount awarded is left to the discretion of the jury.
Beyond its financial support, the Foundation Partnaire offer A support to project leaders to promote the development of the supported organizations and the management of their projects. This support will take the form of advice provided by a collaborator Partnaire expert, in the framework of of skills sponsorship.
The Foundation Partnaire will be particularly attentive to the structuring and feasibility of the project in order to guarantee its long-term viability.
The different projects will be evaluated according to their ability to:
Offer a sustainable support medium and long-term beneficiaries
Être a lever for lasting change for beneficiaries, by integrating clear monitoring indicators and if possible with adapted impacts
Develop a innovative approach within the ecosystem, whether social, technical, territorial or impactful
Propose a clear and sustainable economic model in order to be able to maintain actions beyond the sole support of the Foundation Partnaire.
The exemplary nature of the project, its unifying nature, the involvement of the project leader and the quality of the thinking surrounding the partnership with the Foundation Partnaire are all characteristics of which the Foundation Partnaire will take into account in the selection of the project.
